Make the most of your SLO Thanksgiving 2022 by Wine Tasting

Your Thanksgiving activities in SLO won’t be complete without tasting the  county’s best wines. Gather the gang, grab your besties or surprise your loved ones with a wine-tasting tour. Most vineyards are located in the Edna Valley, Paso Robles AVA, and Santa Maria Valley AVA. Sample wines from grapes grown on small family farms that produce high-quality wines yearly. This gives you access to flavors that aren’t always available elsewhere. Each winery has its unique style, so it’s easy to find something new and exciting every time you go.

Taste award-winning wines at more than 27 tasting rooms across pastoral Edna Valley, just 10 minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo. The best part of this tour is you can pack your leftover turkey sandwiches and thanksgiving dinner for a picnic lunch at the Old Edna Townsite. Watch the sunset on the coast as you stop by one of SLO’s many welcoming wine bars and tasting rooms. Try all the exceptional CAL wines in one place and chat with the wine connoisseur over a glass of red wine.
